The Need
Astra Nova LMS is all about interaction and convenience in terms of e-learning, cost- and time-savings.
This web-based application creates, manages, distributes and evaluates a great amount of learning processes in the form of online courses, webinars, in-house training programs, and interactive content. This software system provides instructors with an opportunity to create content and deliver it to a specific group of participants, within the Clinical trial industry.
The users in this large-scale website benefit from personalized, mobile, relevant and self-paced content.
The Challenge
One of the main challenges for BGO was to assess the best possible solution for migrating information for 10 000 people from the old system, without them experiencing any technical difficulties when accessing the already existing accounts. Moreover, the system had to go through a number of QA procedures and testing to assure all functionalities are working properly. BGO teams faced a number of challenges in order to create a Learning Management System with a highly cross-functional design and processes with:
- a responsive design
- ability to host cloud-based services
- and customized content
In addition to this, the strict deadline demanded BGO fast and highly effective decisions that would drive innovation to Astra Nova’s best practices.

- SQL Database to add excitement and refresh Astra Nova’s LMS website

BGO and Astra Nova’s collaboration added more than 25 000 (and still counting) users on the site, registered in the system since 2016. All of them are now having the unique opportunity to access a training pool consisted of more than 15 certified and 15 free of charge training courses in the Clinical Research/Pharma industries.
BGO Software had also to create a fully functional website of Astra Nova LMS that aims to familiarize people, who are involved in the clinical research/pharma industry, with a number of online certification courses that could be used for their further self-development.
